Question: To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to outline what ring-fenced funding has been available for community-based action in relation to ending violence against women and girls, since September 2024.
Answer:
Since September 2024 up to 31 March 2026; £5.8m has been made available for community-based action through the EVAWG Change Fund. This consists of £4.2m from the allocation specifically ringfenced for EVAWG and £1.6m from TEO baseline budgets. Funding this year will be used to meet the objectives of the first Delivery Plan which includes proposed local and regional community-based actions. The additional funding will enable TEO to deliver on a larger scale and across a broader spectrum of platforms at both local and regional levels.
