Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure for an update on the work, completed to date, to progress the development of the new Lurgan Train Station.

Answer:

The Outline Business Case is currently being prepared and is planned for submission to my Department by Spring 2026. A revised planning application has also been submitted to the local council by Translink for its consideration. Subject to securing final approval, the availability of funding, along with other statutory approvals, the opening of the new station is currently planned for 2029.
