To ask the Minister for Infrastructure, pursuant to AQW 21599/22-27, to detail the (i) criteria; and (ii) threshold, required to trigger a departmental intervention under Article 4 of the Harbours (Northern Ireland) Order 2002.

Answer:

My Department has no specific criteria or threshold in respect of triggering Article 4 of the Harbours (Northern Ireland) Order 2002. Any consideration of intervention under this power would be assessed on a case by case basis. To date, my Department has not exercised this power.
