To ask the Minister of Health to outline what issues have occurred with the linkage of encompass to online data systems, in the current financial year.

Answer:

There have been no significant issues with the linkages between encompass and online data systems in the current financial year. The encompass solution links to selected Regional and Trust systems to augment patient care information stored within the system and support the patient journey.

These links are complex and the encompass programme works closely with all vendors to ensure they are monitored and maintained, with any issues quickly identified, triaged and resolved by encompass' 24/7 managed support service.
