To ask the Minister for Communities to detail any steps his Department is taking to ensure all high-rise buildings meet fire safety regulations, particularly in relation to cladding, balcony materials and fire doors.

Answer:

My officials are currently drafting a high-rise residential building safety policy that aims to improve fire safety in new build and existing high rise residential buildings in line with recommendations from the DoF Expert Panel report, the Hackitt reports and the Grenfell Enquiry. The policy will address all related building products mentioned in your question.
