To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail the (i) average number of applications for (a) non-material changes; and (b) discharge of conditions, that are made to local councils each year.

Answer:

Figures from the Northern Ireland Planning Statistics from the ten-year period between the 2015/16 published statistics until 2024/25, published 26th June 2025, show that there has been an annual average of 853 discharge of condition applications and 467 applications for non-material change received.
