To ask the Minister of Education whether the 2019 guidance on Supporting Transgender Young People, applied in youth service settings.

Answer:

The 2019 guidance applied to pre-schools, primary schools, post-primary and special schools, as well as other educational settings under the control of the Education Authority, including the EA Youth Service and EOTAS centres.

This guidance has been withdrawn as of 8th September 2025.
