Question:
To ask the Minister of Health whether the Waiting List Reimbursement Scheme will continue to approve all applications that meet the current eligibility criteria throughout the remainder of this financial year.

Answer:

An initial £10m will be invested in the Scheme for this financial year, allowing people to claim back the costs of overdue treatments arranged outside Northern Ireland. It is estimated that approximately 1,400 patients could benefit from this investment.
