To ask the Minister for Communities to detail what support his Department can offer community organisations or council-owned spaces that suffer substantial property damage.

Answer:

The Scheme of Emergency Financial Assistance (SEFA) is available to provide financial support to councils in the event of an emergency.

SEFA flooding and non-flooding schemes may cover the cost of materials used for urgent repairs to council-owned buildings or amenities. However, they do not fund improvements beyond restoring the original condition.
