To ask the Minister of Education whether his Department offers any specialist counselling services to children in education settings, who have engaged with the justice system.

Answer:

The Department does not offer counselling provision specifically for those who have engaged with the justice system.

The HOPE post-primary counselling and therapy service is available to all mainstream post-primary schools, EOTAS provisions and special schools that have post-primary aged pupils.
