Question:
To ask the Minister of Education for his assessment of whether the counselling provisions within schools in North Down meets demand.

Answer:

As noted in my previous answer to AQW 34129/22-27, the HOPE post-primary counselling and therapy service is available to all mainstream post-primary schools, EOTAS provisions and special schools that have post-primary aged pupils.

The Department is not aware of any issues regarding access to this service within schools in North Down.
