To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail any urgent action her Department is taking to improve the safety of the footpaths on Moira Main Street, given the extensive cracking and uneven surfaces.

Answer:

My Department carries out regular inspections of all public roads and footways to ensure that essential responsive maintenance is identified and completed as necessary. During these inspections all actionable defects are noted and programmed for repair.

An inspection of the footways along Main Street, Moira took place on 4 November 2025. A number of defects were identified and these have been issued for repair.
