Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure whether her Department has any plans to adopt roadway sections at Riverside, Antrim, which have not already been formally adopted.

Answer:

My Department has no plans to adopt further sections of road at Riverside, Antrim, beyond the stretch which is already part of the publicly adopted network.

There are processes whereby my Department can adopt a private road into the public road network; however, the road should be brought to an adoptable standard prior to the adoption, with costs borne by those wishing to have the road adopted.
