To ask the Minister of Health whether he will review and update General Dental Services fees to reflect the appropriate cost of providing dental care.

Answer:

A cost-of-service review of General Dental Services is currently underway. The review is intended to provide an independent assessment of the actual costs incurred by dental practices in delivering Health Service dental treatments and will inform future decisions on fee structures as part of evidence-based reform.
