As part of a drive by all departments to reduce non-essential discretionary spend my department paused campaign advertising campaigns in 2023. Unfortunately, budget pressures have made it necessary that this continued in the following years with the resulting detrimental impacts on our ability to improve public education and awareness on a range of important public health matters.
