Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure how her Department engages with the UK Government to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Agreement on the Mutual Recognition of Driving Disqualifications Treaty.

Answer:
Mutual recognition of driving disqualifications (MRDD) is an international agreement entered into by the British and Irish Governments, which came into force on 1 August 2017.
My officials meet with Department of Transport (DfT) officials on a regular basis to discuss Driving Licence matters, including MRDD. I have instructed my officials to raise this issue with DfT.
