To ask the Minister of Education to provide a copy of any invitation he received (i) into his Private Office; (ii) directly to his MLA or ministerial email address; (iii) through his Special Adviser, to visit Israel in October 2025, outlining (a) the date and time received; (b) the source of the invitation; and (c) any responses provided through his MLA or Private Office email addresses regarding any invitations.

Answer:

At 14.53 on 15 September, I received an invitation, to my MLA account, from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Israel inviting me to be part of a devolved administration delegation to Israel from the 24–31 October 2025. I asked my Private Office to provide a response, which I approved and they issued.
