Question:
To ask the Minister of Health, pursuant to AQW 30928/22-27, (i) for an update on the report into the commissioning of ADHD services; and, (ii) to detail what date it will be published.

ANSWER

The ADHD needs assessment is ongoing, with work continuing to finalise proposals on workforce requirements, proposed referral pathways and estimated costs. It is anticipated that a report will be with my Department by end of November 2025.

Once the report is received, I and my officials will consider the findings, with a view to identifying next steps and arranging publication in due course.
