Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail how her Department engages with the UK Government to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Agreement on the Mutual Recognition of Driving Disqualifications Treaty.

Answer:
Mutual recognition of driving disqualifications (MRDD) is an international agreement entered into by the British and Irish Governments, which came into force on 1 August 2017.
My officials meet with Department of Transport (DfT) officials on a regular basis to discuss Driving Licence matters, including MRDD. Any issues raised are actioned and dealt with in a timely manner.
