Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to detail any actions they have taken to resolve the impasse over the Maze Long Kesh site, to allow for its future development, since they have taken up office.

Answer:

We have met with the Board of the Maze/Long Kesh Development Corporation (MLKDC). Members of the Board have also met on several occasions with the TEO Permanent Secretary. We have received advice from officials on the immediate priorities for the site, and this is under consideration. We recognise the potential of the site and the need to move forward with consensus. No decisions have been made yet on the future development of the site.
