To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail any consideration she has given to upgrading Adelaide train halt, as part of the development required to host matches during the FIFA Women's World Cup 2035.

Answer:

I have not been made aware of any requirements to upgrade Adelaide Train halt in advance of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2035.

Translink recently extended the platforms at Adelaide Station, to accommodate 6 Car Trains Sets, in summer 2024. Translink also transferred a new designated pedestrian walkway between Adelaide Train Station and Windsor Park to the Irish Football Association for improved local linkages to the stadium.
