To ask the Minister for Communities to detail any consideration that has been given to the creation of a goods and services directorate for older people, under the auspices of the Commissioner for Older People.

Answer:

COPNI’s role is to safeguard and promote the needs of older people and would not have the statutory remit for a directorate of this kind.
