Question:
To ask the Minister of Health, pursuant to AQW 26399/22-27, to detail how his Department engages with (i) Northern Ireland Electricity; and (ii) British Oxygen Company, to ensure fair reimbursement for patients.

Answer:

There is no direct engagement between my Department and Northern Ireland Electricity. My Department manages the procured oxygen service, currently provided by BOC (British Oxygen Company) Homecare Service. As part of this service, BOC reimburses each patient fully for the electricity used by their home oxygen concentrator on a regular basis.
