Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure whether the Little Changes podcast is resourced using her active travel budget allocation.

Answer:

Audio production equipment was purchased in summer 2025 at a total one-off cost of 1,080.83 (excluding VAT). This is a minor expenditure in the context of overall spend on active travel. The ‘Littles Changes’ podcast does not incur any ongoing costs and is presented, recorded, produced and edited by one member of departmental staff in addition to their other duties and therefore at no additional cost to the department.

Decarbonising transport and promoting cleaner and greener transport options are two of the department’s strategic foundations for a better future, and communication is a key part of that. Like many other organisations, the department is using the podcast format to bring the conversation to audiences in a different way.
