To ask the Minister of Education for an update on any work undertaken by his Department to develop an accessible, quick-read, child-friendly guide detailing the various types of specialist provisions and classes, as recommended within the Education and Training Inspectorate's report on Specialist Provision in Mainstream Schools.

Answer:

The Education Authority are in final stages of production of an accessible, quick-read child-friendly guide detailing the various types of specialist provisions and classes. Following the required checks it is hoped that this will be available to families in the near future.
