Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister whether their Department has had any engagement with the UK Government in relation to the appointment of an interlocutor to the role of Independent Expert on paramilitary group transition to disbandment.

Answer:

On 23 September the Secretary of State jointly with the Irish Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration announced the appointment of Fleur Ravensbergen to the role of Independent Expert on paramilitary group transition to disbandment.

The Executive Office was not engaged in this process.
