Question:
To ask the Minister of Finance whether his Department has engaged with other jurisdictions on similar provisions to his proposed Business Growth Accelerator, to understand the effectiveness of such a scheme.

Answer:

Departmental officials have previously engaged their counterparts in England, Scotland and Wales in relation to this area and have also monitored the policy issues and opportunities that have been presented by those various initiatives.

These issues will be considered within a local context further during the consultation planned for this area as referred to in my statement on 18 November 2025.
