Question:
To ask the Minister of Health to detail any dedicated (i) mental health; and (ii) practical support, provided to applicants to the Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme.

Answer:
There is no dedicated mental health or practical support provided to applicants to the Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme. The health and social care service treats individuals based on their need, regardless of how they were injured.
I would encourage anyone who has applied to the Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme to maintain contact with their own GP, who will be best placed to consider their clinical needs and tailor the most appropriate pathway for their specific requirements.
