Question:
To ask the Minister of Finance for an update on the timeline for agreeing a multi-year budget for the Executive.

Answer:

As previously outlined in the Chamber, I will bring proposals on a draft Budget to the Executive in December, following the Chancellors Autumn Budget.

Subject to the Executive’s agreement, this will allow for a 12-week public consultation to launch in December, shortly after the draft Budget is agreed.

Responses to this public consultation will help shape the Executive considerations in agreeing a final multi-year Budget which will set Resource allocations for the next three years and Capital allocations for the next four years.
