Question:
To ask the Minister of Finance to detail when Land and Property Services will complete the (i) valuation; and (ii) assessment, of compensation arising from the vesting of the lands at William Street, Newtownards, to facilitate the development of the planned park and ride site.

Answer:

Progress to value and assess compensation for these lands has been impacted by necessary action to establish the pre-vesting title position. Considerations are at an advanced stage with Land & Property Services (LPS) awaiting confirmation of agreement between solicitors acting for the parties in this matter.

Every effort is being taken to bring this matter to conclusion and upon LPS being advised of the agreed pre-vesting title, the valuation advice will be completed.
