To ask the Minister of Education to detail any (i) policy; or (ii) guidance, his Department has on the removal of materials from departmental websites.

Answer:

The DE website is not an archive for documents or information intended solely for historical record.

As the website is an important source of information for the public it is important that the content is up-to-date and accurate. To support this, periodic reviews of website content are carried out across the Department and any material that is outdated or no longer required will be removed.
