To ask the Minister of Education to detail (i) where material which is removed from the Department’s website is archived; and (ii) whether this information is still available to the public.

Answer:

Documents, regardless of whether they have been published on the website, are saved by business areas in the Department’s content management system.

The Department’s website should not be used to archive documents or information as a matter of historical record.

An archive version of the DE site is held by PRONI and can be accessed by members of the public at Capture Calendar | PRONI Collections, archived by The Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI) | Archive-It Wayback Machine.
