Question:
To ask the Minister of Education to detail whether any other companies were considered when awarding a Direct Award Contract to InnerDrive, for the Online Teacher Continued Professional Development Academy for post-primary schools.

Answer:

In May 2025, the Department undertook a review of potential providers in relation to the proposed online Continued Professional Development (CPD) programme on the Science of Learning for post-primary schools. This review concluded that InnerDrive was the only supplier that was able to deliver the comprehensive package required within the timescales set out in the TransformED Delivery Plan.
