To ask the Minister for the Economy to detail the number of small businesses in Strangford that have availed of support from Invest NI, in the past five years.

Answer:

Invest NI reports its performance on a financial year basis with the year ending 31st March 2025 being the most recent available. Over the period 1st April 2020 to the 31st March 2025 Invest NI has supported 148 businesses within the Strangford Parliamentary Constituency area, 127 (86%) of these were small businesses.

In addition to financial assistance, Invest NI also provides wider support to all businesses through advice, assistance or guidance from our staff and through nibusinessinfo.co.uk, our online business advice portal.
