To ask the Minister of Education to detail any tender process followed to award commercial contracts for the mobile phone pouches trial.

Answer:

On 31 January 2025, the Education Authority Central Procurement Service launched an open market procurement for delivery of the pilot, including the delivery of equipment and associated support and training. Following a competitive procurement process, a preferred supplier was selected. In June 2025, Odyssey Education was awarded the contract.
