To ask the Minister of Finance for an update on the creation of an ending violence against women and girls training portfolio for the Civil Service.

Answer:

Officials in NICSHR Learning and Development continue to support The Executive Office’s (TEO) Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) Directorate with action 11 of their Delivery Plan 2024-2026.

TEO has provided the draft content of an eLearning package for all NICS staff, focusing on raising awareness of what EVAWG is and how to take action and respond. The intention is the training will be available to all NICS staff by April 2026.
