To ask the Minister for Communities to detail whether his Department (i) supported; and (ii) recognised, the 2025 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.

Answer:

My Department supported and recognised the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence by publishing the wider Northern Ireland Civil Service campaign material during the period 20 November – 9 December.

This series of intranet articles raised awareness of a range of issues and supports, as well as reaffirming the Northern Ireland Executive’s commitment to tackle all forms of gender-based violence, abuse and harm.
