Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to detail any additional investment his Department can provide to support the (i) maintenance; and (ii) development of, the Mary Peters Athletic Track in South Belfast.

Answer:

The Mary Peters facility is owned by Belfast City Council and operated under agreement by Athletics NI. Responsibility for the upkeep of the track and all ancillary provisions rests with both the Council and Athletics NI.

I can advise that no formal proposals or business cases for additional investment have been received by either my Department or Sport NI.
