Question:
To ask the Minister of Education to detail any planned implementation of Education for Sustainable Development, including outdoor learning, in (i) the Northern Ireland Curriculum review; and (ii) the new Northern Ireland Curriculum.

Answer:

The Curriculum Taskforce will develop a new statutory curriculum framework for Northern Ireland, drawing on the recommendations of the Strategic Review of the Northern Ireland Curriculum. The Taskforce will consider a wide range of priorities identified during the review.

The proposed framework will be subject to full public consultation before any implementation, ensuring that all stakeholders have the opportunity to contribute.
