Question:
To ask the Minister of Education for an update on the Religious Education Advisory Committee.

Answer:

The Religious Education Advisory Working Group has not met since March 2023. My Department is considering legal advice following the recent Supreme Court judgment in the case of ‘JR87 and another’.

I will make an announcement on the RE syllabus in coming weeks, including interim guidance.
