Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities, pursuant to AQW 37384/22-27, to detail the complex issues which need to be resolved to allow the development of Newtownards Library to progress.

Answer:

There has been ongoing constructive engagement around the Newtownards Library Business Case between Libraries NI, Ards and North Down Borough Council (ANDBC) and officials in my Department. Following a series of recent meetings to examine the outstanding issues within the Business Case, a set of actions necessary to advance the project has been agreed and is being progressed.
