To ask the Minister for Communities to detail the amount he included for benefit cap mitigations in his bid for the Proposed Draft Budget 2026-29/30.

Answer:

In the budget exercise my Department submitted a bid for Welfare Mitigations which included Benefit Cap Mitigations of £12.7million in 2026-27, £13.0million in 2027-28 and £13.4million in 2028-29.
