Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy for an update on the development of an aviation strategy.

Answer:

My Department has prepared a draft aviation policy consultation following engagement with the aviation sector, local government, and tourism and investment partners.

The draft has been shared with the Tourism Partnership Board, including the three local airports and key tourism stakeholders. My officials will meet Board members to finalise the draft before presenting it to me. I will then share the consultation document with the Economy Committee, enabling public consultation to begin shortly after.
