Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to provide an update on a review of neighbourhood renewal areas and partnerships.

Answer:

The Review of the Executive’s ‘People and Place Strategy: A strategy for Neighbourhood Renewal’ (2003) was progressed through an inclusive approach and has concluded, with the development of a Strategic Framework draft.

The Strategic Framework is currently being considered by myself and, subject to my Executive colleagues approval, a public consultation will take place.

It is not anticipated that any changes to the existing Neighbourhood Renewal programme will take place during the 2026/27 financial year.
