To ask the Minister for Communities for an update on the draft Local Government (Cremation) Regulations (NI) 2024.

My officials are considering the replies to the consultation on the draft Local Government (Cremation) Regulations (NI) 2024 and in context of the provisions within the Deaths, Still-Births and Baby Loss Bill which passed its Final Assembly Stage in December 2025.
