To ask the Minister for the Economy for an update on any plans Invest NI has to acquire additional economic land, in the Lagan Valley constituency.

Answer:

Through its Regional Property Strategy, Invest NI has outlined its approach to addressing gaps in the supply of industrial and economic land across the North. This includes working closely with local councils, enterprise agencies, and other partners to co-design property solutions to address the needs of individual council areas.

Invest NI does not disclose specific locations or sites it may consider for future land acquisitions. This approach helps ensure best value for the public purse and reduces the risk of speculative activity that could impact the cost or viability of potential economic development projects.
