To ask the Minister of Education, pursuant to AQW 37727/22-27, to detail whether he will use the power of direction to ensure all children have a place for September 2026.

Answer:

The Department of Education and Education Authority are currently considering all options to ensure placements for all children with statements of Special Education Needs for 2026.
