Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail any proposals for the Portadown signature active travel scheme, to link the Black Paths to Portadown railway station.

Answer:

My Department has commissioned consultants to commence work on the design and planning phases of six signature active travel schemes across the north, including the Black Paths extension scheme.

Design development is at a very early stage but my Department recognises that meaningful engagement with the public is key to delivering projects of this nature. The project team will bring preliminary proposals to the public and key stakeholders for input once these have been suitably developed.
