Question:
To ask the Minister of Education to detail his next actions in terms of children missing in education.

Answer:

Work on the development of policy in this area continues with Children Missing Education included as one six priorities in the draft ‘Attendance Matters’ strategy, which is currently out for public consultation.

Once the consultation responses have been collated and considered then officials will seek to consult and engage with stakeholders more widely on the draft Children Missing Education policy framework.
