These 99 children receive short breaks on a regular basis, however the Fostering Service also delivered episodic short breaks to 93 children within the Delegated Statutory reporting period between April and September 2025 to support placements both within care and within the community. In relation to the combination of the above services there are currently 77 children on the various waiting lists to receive respite/short breaks.
